Frequently Asked Questions - NVP Expansion
Is there a plan not only for expansion of new chapters, but also for reviving chapters with a letter that do not have active members on campus? (sorority, fraternity, or both entities)
While the revitalization of chapters generally falls under the Regional Office, I do plan to partner with NVPs of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs to provide resources and documents necessary to re-establish chapters where previous membership existed.

Is there a hard stop on expansion outside of the East Coast?
No, however, with all expansion we will be assessing the feasibility and sustainability of establishing chapters based on the resources and active membership available to support the chapter.

What recent (within the past 5 years) expansion projects have you actively been a part of? Support for sorority endeavors counts as well.
Four of the last five years, I have served as RAMA. Within that position, our focus was not expansion, as much as strengthening the current chapters within the region. However, I have had the opportunity to serve in several capacities for charter chapters since joining the organization. I was involved in various stages of the Nu/Xi Charter, starting with marketing the organization to interests on their campuses and interviewing candidates. Additionally, I was on the Orientation Committee for Omicron Chapter serving as an Eagle Connection. In more recent years, as a Regional Officer I've worked very closely with Orientation Processes including the re-Charter of Rho Fraternity in Fall 2011 and re-Charter of Gamma Fraternity in Spring 2012.
